Book suggestion: The Art of Social Media

For the past 4 weeks, I have been reading this wonderful book designed for social media influencers. "The Art of Social Media" by Guy Kawasaki and Peg Fitzpatrick provides tips for those wanting to perfect their social media platforms. The book is an easy read, informational, and provides plenty of pictures for context. Throughout the book, you are introduced to different applications that will help you succeed and plan content for your platforms. For example, the authors discussed the benefits of having Hubspot editorial calendar for content planning. This calendar allows you to schedule filming times, posting times, and track progress. Personally, I enjoyed the intro to the different useful and available applications. As a person wanting to develop my social media pages, the information about different supporting applications gave me an outline to begin my favorable profile. Being naive in social media, I find this book very helpful and professional. The text is very straightforward and direct. When discussing the different social media pages, the author made sure to provide tips for optimizing your profile and how to integrate them for the best audience outreach. Overall, I would rate this book a 8/10. Since this is an older writing, there is lack of information for the newer social media platforms such as Tiktok or Snapchat but the same context to be applied. If you are currently a developed or inspiring social media influencer, this book is a great guide to polishing your page. If you would like to see for yourself, click this link right here.
