Live Tweet assignment

Today, I was able to live tweet during the memorial service of Kobe and Gianna Bryant. Throughout the event, I was able to keep everyone up to date with everything that was happening. The service began with Beyonce singing, what she stated was Kobe's favorite song XO. She then led the rest of the performance singing Halo with a grand choir supporting her. The first person to speak at the memorial service, was night time American entertainer Jimmy Kimmel. He personally and touchingly spoke about his experience with Kobe and how he has influenced his life. Something I appreciated during his speech were his efforts to get everyone to know each other. He had them all introduce themselves to others around them. Next, the lovely Vanessa Bryant spoke for about 35 minutes. She started her speech honoring her late daughter Gianna. She spoke about her contagious smile, her kind heart, and how much she expressed her love. Next, she spoke about her first love, the great Kobe Bryant himself. She proclaimed their love for one another and how great of a dad he was to their children. Another highlight of the event involved Alicia Keys playing Moonlight Sonata in remembrance of Kobe Bryant. This is iconic, for he taught himself this song to play for Vanessa as a confession of his love. Michael Jordan left the audience teary eyed as he talked about his relationship with Kobe. He jokingly called him a "nuisance" and how himself is going to become another crying meme. Christina Aguilera sang Ava Maria and Shaq also gave a heart touching speech. Overall, this was a wonderful memorial service, and the lives of Kobe and Gianna Bryant was truly represented. may they forever rest in peace! To check out the live tweet, check out #onusm2020.
